- R M Review added: 2018.07.01★ ★ ★ ★ ★Marlene is a fantastic host and very welcoming. I booked last minute by telephone. The room is clean, beds comfortable and well equipped with your own fridge and microwave plus tea and coffee making facilities. Milk and a carton of orange juice provided which is very welcoming. Breakfast is good, I opted for a bacon sandwich.
Bathroom great and Marlene is happy for you to come and go as you please. Feels very much like a home from home. The best thing about Alnwick Lodge is the host, fantastic lady!
